Super Featherweight Patricio Manuel from Los Angeles, CA was knocked out in the 1st round by Joshua Brian Reyes from Lubbock, TX. Reyes improved to 4-2 with 2 KOs. The knockout was 0:21 of the 1st round. Manuel took a shot the chin and dropped and was able to get up but the referee waived it off.
Middleweights Anthony Saldivar from Ontario, CA won a Unanimous Decision over Henry Rivera from Las Vegas, NV. Saldivar improved his record to 6-0. Saldivar controlled this fight and worked the body early. He then dominated the third and forth round with shots to the head, he was landing the uppercut at will. Pacific Coast boxing had it 40-36 for Saldivar, as did the judges.
Lightweight Joshua Garcia of Moreno, Valley, CA won a split decision over Duihl Olguin from Guadalajara, MX. Garcia improved to 8-0. Garcia won the first round with landing the harder punches and was the aggressor. In the second round Olguin scored a flash knockdown. Olguin was also cut on the top of the head on a headbutt. The corner did a good job stopping the bleeding and wasn’t an issue the rest of the fight. Garcia took over rounds 3 through 6 outworking Olguin, landing more clean shots, Olguin was hurt in the 5th but managed to make it through the 6 rounds. Pacific Coast Boxing had it 58-55 Garcia, as did one of the judges 58-55, one judge had it 57-56 Olguin and the last judge had it 57-56 Garcia.
Super Welterweight Grant Flores from Coachella, CA knocked out Freddy Espinoza from Chinandega, Nicaragua in the 1st round. Flores improved to 4-0 with 3 KOs. Flores dominated this first using his jab and avoided Espinoza’s wild shots. Flores ended it with a left to the body and could not beat the count. The official time was 1:59 of the first round.
Super Bantamweight Gucci Manny Flores from Coachella, CA knocked out Alberto Guevara from Tijuana, MX in the 2nd round. Flores improved to 17-1 with 13 KOs. Flores did a good job controlling the pace and being the aggressor. Flores knocked down Guevara in the 2nd round and Guevara tried to get up but couldn’t beat the count. The corner knew he was hurt and threw the towel anyway.
Super Bantamweight Tito Sanchez from Cathedral City, CA won a Unanimous Decision over Erik Ruiz from Oxnard, CA. Sanchez improved to 13-0. This fight was action packed, a lot of toe-to-toe exchanges. Sanchez dominated rounds 1 through 8, knocking Ruiz down in the 3rd. Rounds 9 and 10 were close. Pacific Coast Boxing had it 98-91, the judges had it 97-92 x3.
